Detail Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu & Pashupatinath Temple visit

Our agent will greet and escort you to the hotel as soon as you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport. After a short interlude, you go to Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest temples of God Shiva. 

The temple is on the Bagmati River, a site used for cremation today. Religious performances can only be understood by watching, and the spooky ambience can only be experienced. 

The rest of the day/evening is your free time to go through its local markets or to stay inside the hotel.

Day 2

Drive to Pokhara via Manakamana Temple

After breakfast, you will begin your scenic drive to Pokhara, a beautiful lake town celebrated for its impressive mountain scenery and outdoor activities.

Manakamana Temple (a place of pilgrimage for the goddess Bhagwati) will be toured on the tour.  

While you are there, an awesome cable ride will wait for you to take you to the shrine, and beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding hills and mountains will be found on that site. After visiting the temple, continue your journey to Pokhara.

Manakamana Temple: 

Manakamana Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to goddess Bhagwati, an incarnation of Parvati. It is one of the most visited temples in Nepal. It is situated in the Mankamana, Gorkha, Nepal.

Many devotees from different parts of Nepal and abroad visit Manakamana, believing their wishes will be fulfilled.

Day 3

Full-Day Pokhara Sightseeing

It is a day trip to the most interesting places in Pokhara. Their first experience is observing the sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges from Sarangkot at about sunrise. 

Return to your hotel for breakfast. Davis Falls is unusual and cuts deep into an underground lake, and Gupteshwor Cave is unique. Unwinding boat rides together with the scenic reflection of Mount Machhapuchhre on the water's surface.

Gaze upon the World Peace Pagoda, which is a lovely place to observe the site of Pokhara and the surrounding mountains. 

End the day at the International Mountain Museum, where the role played by mountaineer activity in the building and transformation of the history and present of Nepal is unveiled.

Day 4

Fly back to Kathmandu from Pokhara

In the afternoon, you will fly internally from Kathmandu. One gets a unique enjoyment from a panorama of sky images of hills, rivers and mountain ranges taken from high above. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check into your hotel. 

The rest of the day is free for leisure. Walking in Thamel, a bustling tourist area, is possible for shopping or sightseeing in and about the city.

DAY 5

Full Day Kathmandu Sightseeing

You will go to Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), an old stupa with great views of the Kathmandu Valley. Then, approach the site of the Boudhanath Stupa, one of the biggest stone structures constructed by Buddhists worldwide and famous for being a quiet place. 

Explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, the historic complex of palaces, temples and courtyards, Kathmandu. 

The opportunity to visit Kumari Ghar, the dwelling of the Living Goddess Kumari, is not to be missed. The day ends with a trip to the lively street of Asan Market.

Final Departure from Kathmandu

1. By Flight (Pokhara to Kathmandu)

4. Private Vehicle (Pokhara to Kathmandu)

5-6 hours Vehicle travel by private car, jeep or van is its most portable and adaptable form of transport. Uninterruptible locomotion with minimal stops is provided with a reduced travel time of 5 to 6 hours. 

This is appropriate for a group, a family, or a traveller looking for privacy and comfort. No doubt, consumers are now increasingly aware of a given route, which could be the shortest and most economical fuel route.

 The way from Kathmandu to Pokhara is beautiful, however, it is winding and lasts for 6 to 7 hours driving or bus on good road, with no traffic jams and a fine road. The road runs alongside Prithvi Highway (the main street connecting the two cities).

Although the road surface is mostly flat and paved, it is a narrow road with many hairpin bends and climbs and descends along the crest and bottom of a gulch. Roadways provide fantastic vistas of verdant green, water and rural areas. 

However, traffic jams can occur for travellers during peak season. In other areas, the road is bumpy, and the journey feels long due to the unicellular nature of the highway. 

 

The travelling distance on the road from Kathmandu to Pokhara is approximately 200 km (124 miles). This may require 6 to 7 hours, depending on the traffic and road.

The route is presented on the Prithvi Highway, which is a wide road across the city with beautiful views all the way through.

The best time to travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara by car is during the autumn (September to November) and spring (March to May) seasons. It is good times with blue skies, mild weather, and comfortable humidity; the car is monotonous and pleasant. 

Autumn (September to November):

Spring (March to May):
