Trip Overview
Kathmandu and Chitwan are the most visited tourist places in Nepal which offers natural and cultural heritage sites. People from different parts of the world come to visit Kathmandu which has the most visited monasteries and temples i.e. Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath Stupa along with various historical sites including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square where the most of Durbar squares are open for the tourist. Durbar Squares attracts visitors with various handmade architecture and sculptures, with a museum of medieval arts, woodcarving, and colossal pagoda temples. Each Durbar squares have its history and source of attractions.
Chitwan National Park was established in 1973 to provide a home to diverse wildlife including tigers, rhinos, and elephants. In, 1951 AD Chitwan was a completely dense forest and only Tharu people were the inhabitants. The main objective of declaring the forest of Chitwan as a National Park is to conserve the forest and its species, where we can find the varieties of species, mammals which are very fun and interesting to watch. To date, it has been the main source of tourism in Nepal along with the reflection of the culture and traditions of Tharu's origin.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 KATHMANDU ARRIVAL
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative and will transfer you to the hotel, for check-in and rest. Later in the evening, after having some rest you can stroll around Kathmandu explore the local markets, and enjoy the chaos of Kathmandu city.

Day 2 KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, we will embark on the sightseeing tour which is quite a popular tourist destination and holy places in Kathmandu i.e. Boudhanath Stupa, SwayambhuNath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Guheshowri and Budanilkantha.
After breakfast, you will begin your spiritual journey by visiting Kathmandu's most holy places. First, you will visit the iconic Pashupatinath Temple, which is considered one of the most sanctified Hindu temples devoted to Lord Shiva which conforms to Hindu belief in Karma and reincarnation and is located on the banks of the Bagmati River. You will also have a chance to perform rituals and pray for your successful pilgrimage here.
You will get a drive to Guheshowri Temple, one of the most holy places related to Goddess Parvati, which is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. Later, Budhanilkantha will be your last call for today, where you can see an enormous stone carving of Lord Vishnu lying on top of a bed of serpents, basking serenely in a pond. This temple of Lord Vishnu is of great devotion to the pilgrims. In the afternoon, drive back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Boudhanath Stupa:
It is considered to be the sacred site dedicated to the Buddha which was founded in the 12th century. Boudha Stupa was listed on the World Heritage list by UNESCO in 1979 and it is one of the most popular tourist sites in Kathmandu. Boudhanath stupa is considered one of the largest spherical stupas in the world because of its massive mandala which is easily located from the valley. It is visited every day by locals and international tourists despite the huge traffic in the area.
Swayambhunath Stupa:
Swayambhunath Stupa is also known as a Monkey Temple. It is one of the oldest stupas in Nepal having numerous shrines and monasteries Buddhism. It has been an important center of Buddhism since the 13th century. Many international and local travelers come to visit the stupa every day to observe a peaceful environment and also a panoramic view of Kathmandu Valley. The stupa is built on the hilltop on the Northeast side of the Kathmandu Valley where the stone steps are built which might be quite challenging to reach till the stupa for some visitors.
Kathmandu Durbar Square:
Kathmandu Durbar Square is the largest square palace in Nepal which is located in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is one of the popular tourist destinations which is also known as the Museum of the Temples and also one of the oldest durbar squares in Kathmandu. There are over 50 temples in the square which is why it is called the 'museum of temples'. Kathmandu Durbar Square was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979 after the Durbar Square was renovated and constructed because some original part of the Durbar Square was damaged because of the massive earthquake in 1934. Many visitors from different parts of the world come to visit Durbar Square daily.

Day 3 KATHMANDU-CHITWAN DRIVE
The morning after breakfast, drive to Chitwan. We will then continue our journey towards Chitwan to Observe the beautiful river valley of Marshyangdi to the west, and Trisuli to the South. Enjoying a striking scenic view of the Manaslu- Himal Chuli and Annapurna ranges, and the deep and terraced valleys. Enjoy Photography at Natural Scenic Spots.
Later in the evening, you will be enjoying the village tour and Tharu cultural program. The unique Tharu cultural program is one of the most entertaining parts of the tour, where you get to experience the traditional music performance and Tharu-style dance which reflect their culture.

Day 4 CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK JUNGLE ACTIVITIES
Chitwan is called the "heart of the Jungle". The Chitwan National Park is home to more than 50 mammal species, the count of birds is over 525, and 55 amphibians and reptiles. There are various endangered fauna found in the park i.e. One-horned rhinoceros, Gaur, royal Bengal tiger, wild elephant, four-horned antelope, golden monitor lizard, python, and so on.
The next morning after having breakfast you will proceed to explore Chitwan including, Bird watching, elephant breeding center, Chitwan National Park, elephant bathing, jeep safari, canoe ride, Chitwan jungle safari tour, and canoeing. After visiting return back to the hotel and Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 CHITWAN-KATHMANDU DRIVE
The morning after having breakfast drive back to Kathmandu from Chitwan. Enjoying a scenic view on the way to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at Kathmandu, check-in at the hotel, rest, and refreshments.
Later you can explore the local markets of Kathmandu and spend an evening at leisure and do some shopping.

Day 6 DEPARTURE FROM KATHMANDU
After breakfast, your tour of 7 days from Kathmandu- Chitwan concludes. Per your flight schedule, you can do some last-minute shopping in Kathmandu if time allows. An agent will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure, wrapping around all of the memories you've spent in Nepal.
