Tsum Valley trekking is known as the hidden valley of happiness, first described by Guru Rimpoche which is located at the north of Gorkha. Tibetan Buddhist culture is more practice here because of border near to Tibet. Tsum Valley is in remoted area and beautiful villages in the mountain region. From here you can see the magnificent view of Ganesh Himal, Sringi Himal and Baudha Himal ranges. Due to its uniqueness part large numbers of tourists visit here. This trekking route is least develop and less explore due to the remoteness.

Tsum Valley trekking is just only for 18 days where you go up to the altitude of 3700M that why it is graded as average trekking route. Your trek starts from Arughat, the trekking route you pass through are Liding, Maccha khola, Jagat, Lokpa, Chumling, Chhokangparo, Chhule Nile, Mu Gumpa, Rachen Gumpa, Dhumje, Gumba Lungdan, Ripchet, Philim, Khorla Bensi, Laapu Bensi & finally again in Kathmandu. In this route you get an opportunity to see the stunning view of Ganesh Himal, Sringi Himal and Baudha Himal ranges etc as well as the Chortens, Gumbas, Mani Walls etc.

Itinerary of Tsum Valley Trekking

  • Day 1 : Kathmandu Arrival
Well Nepal travels and tour heartily welcome you in arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). And escort you to the hotel. Stay overnight at hotel.  
 
  • Day 2 : Kathmandu valley sightseeing (1360M)
After breakfast you move for sightseeing Pashupatinath Temple (temple of lord god Shiva), Swayambunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square And many more places of Kathmandu valley. You back to the hotel and preparation for trek and stay overnight at hotel.  
 
  • Day 3 : Kathmandu to Arughat (570M)
After breakfast you drive to the Arughat from where your trek starts. It takes 8/9 hours to drive to reach Arughat. On the way you can enjoy the green scenery as well as the running rivers. Stay overnight at hotel.  
 
  • Day 4 : Arughat to Sati Khola (710M)
After breakfast you headed up for Sati Khola, where you need to pass through Mordar & Simre village, hydropower project, Kyorpani and finally reached you Sati Khola. Stay overnight at Sati Khola.  
 
  • Day 5 : Sati Khola to Machha Khola (890M)
After breakfast you headed up for Machha Khola. You need to climb up to ridge of Budi Gandaki and pass through villages like Khursane village, Gurungs Village of Labubesi, rivers and water fall after hours of walk on a rocky path you finally reach to Machha Khola. Stay overnight at hotel.  
 
  • Day 6 : Machha Khola to Dovan (1070M)
After breakfast you gear up for Dovan from where you get chances to glimpse of diversity of flora & fauna, and people with different religion and cultures. And you pass through the Sarpu Khola and Shiar Khola. Stay overnight to Dovan.  
 
  • Day 7 : Dovan to Philim (1590M)
After breakfast you headed towards Philim, on the way you get chances to see the spectacular view of Shringi Himal, corn & millet farm house and pass through the Gurung’s village. Stay overnight at Philim.  
 
  • Day 8 : Philim to Lower Tusum (2385M)
After breakfast you move towards the Lower Tsum from where you can see Ganesh Himal and pass through exploring the village. Stay overnight at Lower Tsum.  
 
  • Day 9 : Lower Tsum (Chimlung) to Upper Tsum (Chhekamparo(3240M)
After breakfast you headed for Upper Tsum where you can see many Gumbas, Yak Rearing, pine forest and broad meadows and shrubs. Also explore about the life style culture and tradition o people lived here. Stay overnight at Chhekamparo.  
 
  • Day 10 : Chhekamparo to Chule (3300M)
After breakfast you move towards Chule. You can visit Milarepa Piren Phu cave on the way where Tietan Saints used to do meditation. Explore the local resources and Stay overnight at Chule.  
 
  • Day 11 : Chule to Mu Gompa (3700M) to Chule
After breakfast you gear up for Mu Gompa. After couple hours of walk you finally reach to Mu Gompa where you can explore around the Gumba freely. And you finally trail down to Chule. Stay overnight at Chule.  
 
  • Day 12 : Chule to Chumling
After breakfast you trail down to the Chumling along with enjoying the nature. Stay overnight at Chule.  
 
  • Day 13 : Chumling to Philim

After breakfast you headed down for Philim and stay overnight at Philim.

 
 
  • Day 14 : Philim to Khorla besi
After breakfast you move towards Khorla Besi which is famous for local coffee. Stay overnight at hotel.  
 
  • Day 15 : Khorla Besi to Lapu Besi
After breakfast you headed down to the Lapu Besi where you can observe the spectacular view of different Himalayas. Stay overnight at Lapu Besi  
 
  • Day 16 : Lapubesi to Arughat
After breakfast you move down to the Arughat along with enjoying the natural beauty. Stay overnight at Arughat.  
 
  • Day 17 : Arughat to Kathmandu
After breakfast you drive to Kathmandu, after long drive you have plenty of time for doing shopping, to go pub and exploring the Kathmandu. Stay overnight at hotel.  
 
  • Day 18 : Departure
This is an end of the day of your trek. You can email you parents, friends, agents, organize photos and recall the memories that you capture on Tsum Valley Trek. If you have plenty of time to stay in Nepal so you can make a call for us to plan for you
