Panch Pokhari Trekking route is mention in the wilderness trek because of its nature. Panch Pokhari was named for this place because the five pond. Panch Pokhari lies in the north east of Kathmandu Valley at the altitude of the 4100M. From here you can observe the spectacular view of different mountain and enjoy to the local natural beauty.

Panch Pokhari trekking is only just for 13 days where you went up to the high altitude of 4100M so it is graded as average trek. Your trek start from Chautara and the places you pass through the trekking are Purse, Kami Kharka, Pauwa Baas, Hille Bhanjhyang, Narsim Pati, Panch Pokhari, Tupi Danda, Dhap, Melamchi where you can get chances to see the spectacular view of the different Himalayas, lifestyle, culture & tradition of local people and more opportunity to explore about Panch Pokhari.

Itinerary of Panch Pokhari Trekking

  • Day 1 : Kathmandu Arrival
Well Nepal travels and tour heartily welcome you in arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). And escort you to the hotel. Stay overnight at hotel  
  • Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing (1360m)
After breakfast you move for sightseeing Pashupatinath Temple (temple of lord god Shiva), Swayambunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square And many more places of Kathmandu valley. You back to the hotel and preparation for trek and stay overnight at hotel.  
  • Day 3 : Kathmandu to Chautara (1200M)
After breakfast you will go for a long drive to Chautara for 6/7 hours drive. Explore Chautara village and Stay overnight at hotel.  
  • Day 4 : Chautara to Purse (2050M)
After breakfast you gear up for Purse which is grazing or pasture land for animals. On the way you can see small farming villages, spectacular view of Gaurishankar Himal and stay overnight at Purse.  
  • Day 5 : Purse to Kami Kharka (2845M)
After breakfast you headed for Kami kharaka which place is so suitable for fine camp sites on grassy land surrounded by forest. On the way you will pass through beautiful rhododendron, oak, pine and moss forests and stunning view of Gaurishanker Himal from here. Stay overnight at Kami Kharka.  
  • Day 6 : Kami Kharka to Pauwa Bass (3000M)
After breakfast you move towards to Pauwa Bas where you can see the beauty of the nature, Rhododendron forest which attracts you towards it. Stay overnight at Pauwa Bas.  
  • Day 7 : Pauwa Bas to Hile Bhanjhyang (3400M)
After breakfast you gear up for Hile bhanjhyang where you need to pass through stony, grassy pastures to cross the ridge near some cairns, dense forest and gullies with water. Stay overnight at Hile Bhanjhyang.  
  • Day 8 : Hile Bhanjhyang to Nasim Pati (3700M)
After breakfast you headed to Nasim Pati from where you can see the spectacular view of surrounding if the weather is clear which takes your breath. You need to pass through rocky hills and rhododendron forests. Stay overnight at Nasim Pati.  
  • Day 9 : Nasim Pati to Panch Pokhari (4100M)
After breakfast you headed toward Panch Pokhari which is your last destination. Panch Pokhari is a holy places of Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimages, so they came here on Janai Purnima to worship god & goddess. From here you can see the stunning view of Jugal Himal range, Rolwaling range, Gosainkunda etc. Stay overnight at Panch Pokhari.  
  • Day 10 : Panch Pokhari to Tupi Dada to Dhap (1200M)
After breakfast you trail down to Tupi Dada, stay for a while and again march towards the Dhap. On the way you can observe the scenic beauty and stay overnight at Dhap.  
  • Day 11 : Acclimatization day
This day is leisure day for you to re-boost your energy. You can utilize this time by mailing your parents, friends and exploring the lifestyle, culture and tradition of local people, and local resources. Stay overnight at Dhap.  
  • Day 12 : Dhap to Melamchi to Kathmandu
After breakfast you headed from Dhap to Melamchi for couple hours of walk and stay for a while and again drive towards Kathmandu. Stay overnight at hotel.  
  • Day 13 : Departure
This is an end of the day of your trek. You can email you parents, friends, agents, organize photos and recall the memories that you capture on Panch Pokhari Trek. If you have plenty of time to stay in Nepal so you can make a call for us to plan for you.
