To the western rim of Tibet, amidst the barren landscape lies a holy jewel, standing divine and aloft, this sacred mountain is called Mount Kailash. According to various Puranas and Vedic books, Lake Manasarover was created by Lord Brahma in his mind and later it got manifested on Earth. This manifestation led to birth of purity and divinity. People start to believe that drinking and taking bath on this lake water will wash away sins and take to heaven after death. People bath and drink water to cleanse their lifetimes sins and get blessing. Like this people were attracted to visit this holy destination. Thousands of pilgrimage from India, Nepal, Tibet and other neighboring countries visit the place to get salvation. And as per Hindu Theology, Lake Manasarover is one of the five sacred lakes which is called Panch-Sarover.
