Bhairav Kunda Trekking is a newly introduces trekking route in Nepal which one is located the altitude of 4200 M. Bhairab Kunda Trek is less explored and only limited visitors visit here. Bhirav Kunda was named after the destructive name of Lord Shiva. This place is a holy place or both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimages so many number of pilgrimages comes to visit here. It’s an old trade route between Nepal and Tibet. From here you can see the magnificent view of the Jugal Himal, Dorje Lakpa Himal, Gaurisankhar Himal, Langtang Himal, Panch Pokhari Himal.

Bhairav Kunda trek is just only for 10 days where you go up to the high altitude of 4200 M. so it is graded as average trek. Your trek from Balephi and the route pass through in this trek are Chanaute, Khani Gaon, Pati, Bhairav Kunda, Sherpa Gaon, Larcha and back to Kathmandu. On the way you can observe the magnificent view of different mountains and villages, catch the scenic beauty of the nature and explore about the life style, culture, tradition of the peoples. The best seasons for this trek are Sep to Dec & Feb to May

Itinerary of Bhairav Kunda Trekking

  • Day 1 : Kathmandu Arrival
Well Nepal travels and tour heartily welcome you in arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). And escort you to the hotel. Stay overnight at hotel  
 
  • Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing (1360m)
After breakfast you move for sightseeing Pashupatinath Temple (temple of lord god Shiva), Swayambunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square And many more places of Kathmandu valley. You back to the hotel and preparation for trek and stay overnight at hotel.  
 
  • Day 3 : Kathmandu to Balephi to Chanaute (1250M)
After breakfast you drive towards Balephi for 6 hour and stay for a while and start your trek towards Chanaute. Explore the village and stay overnight at Chanaute.  
 
  • Day 4 : Chanaute to Khani Gaun (2000M)
After breakfast you headed towards Khani Gaun where mostly newar community people lived. On the way you pass through small villages, streams, and the excitement of passing local schools. Stay overnight at Khani Gaun.  
 
  • Day 5 : Khani Gaun to Forest Camp (3150M)
After breakfast you gear up for the Forest Camp where you can observe rhododendron forest, grazing pastures land, nomad houses for cattle’s and encounter some animals and birds which attracts you towards the nature. Stay overnight at Forest Camp.  
 
  • Day 6 : Forest Camp to Pati (3900M)
After breakfast you move towards Pati from where you can see the spectacular view of the mountain and beautiful villages. Stay overnight at Pati.  
 
  • Day 7 : Pati to Bhairav Kunda (4150M)
After breakfast you headed towards your destination Bhairav Kunda which one is a holy place of both Hindu & Buddhist Pilgrimages. Peoples believe that once you take bath here then all your sins will be washed and you will be fit & fine. Worship to statue of lord Shiva. Explore bhairav Kunda Surrounding and stay overnight at Bhairav Kunda.  
 
  • Day 8 : Bhairav Kunda to Bhairav View point (4200M) to Sherpa Gaun (2500M)
After breakfast you climb to the Bhiarav view point from where you can see the magiicent view of its surrounding and Langtang, Jugal, Rolwaling and Tibet mountains. And again trail down to the Sherpa Gaun where mostly Sherpa community lives. Explore the surrounding and stay the over night at Sherpa Gaun.  
 
  • Day 9 : Sherpa Gaun to Larche to Kathmandu

After breakfast you trail down to the Larche stay for a while and drives towards Kathmandu. Stay overnight at hotel.

 
 
  • Day 10 : Departure
This is an end of the day of your trek. You can email you parents, friends, agents, organize photos and recall the memories that you capture on Bhairav Kunda Trek. If you have plenty of time to stay in Nepal so you can make a call for us to plan for you.
